Perfumer’s Apprentice Koolada 10 PG Concentrate is a flavourless additive that will give a cool sensation when it is used as an ingredient in a DIY e-liquid. Koolada (Menthyl Methyl Lactate) is ideal for giving a ‘cold’ feeling at the back of the throat and most DIY mixers prefer to use it instead of mint or menthol in order to add coolness to a recipe without altering the flavours; Koolada is great when used with ice creams, summer beverages and fruits. Try using 2 drops per 10ml of liquid (1%) at first, because Perfumer’s Apprentice Koolada Concentrate is extremely potent; small amounts can have a big effect on your end result- 0.5% adds “cool” 1.0% adds “cold” 1.5% is downright “icy” and 2.0% is “frozen arctic tundra cold”
Recommended percentage: 1 – 3%
Recommended steep time: 1 – 5 days

Notes
- This is a concentrated flavouring to be mixed in a DIY e-liquid. It is not to be vaped without diluting.
- We suggest mixing most Perfumer’s Apprentice concentrates at approximately 5-10% initially and then adjusting to your personal taste.
- All of the Perfumer’s Apprentice concentrates we stock are PG based.
- There can be noticeable colour differences between different batches of the same flavour. This is a natural result of the flavour manufacturing process.
- The Perfumer’s Apprentice and The Flavour Apprentice are the same company and the products are the same. We only use the Perfumer’s Apprentice name because it is more widely recognised.

Not for me. It is most definitely “cool” – it feels like I’ve inhaled a sliver of dry ice and it’s stuck to the back of my throat. Even at far less than 1% it irritates my nose and throat. Other than “cold” it is pretty much tasteless (though I’ve not tested above 2%, which was unvapable for me due to coughing). I’ll stick with peppermint + menthol + eucalyptus for my ice cool mix.

I can’t work this out everyone says use like 1or 2 drops to every 10ml is that out of the bottle it comes in or not so I just add it as 2% an put 1ml in 50ml but I can’t taste the difference

WARNING! Do NOT put this neat on your tongue to taste, it felt like ripping an iceberg off my tongue and left my mouth so cold for 10 minutes after! LOL
It does what everybody says, cool breeze on your vapes.

Nice added extra. I tried vaping just the concentrate on a dropper and when I caught, it felt like cold air was coming out my ears. Great!

Does what it says on the tin… Cooling agent gives the menthol feel without the taste
Use only a few drops per 10ml bottle 1 to 2 for cool, 3 to 4 for cold, 5 to 6 for Ice effect, 7 to 8 for Brrrrr!
