What is a Longfill?

In the UK it is illegal to sell e-liquids containing nicotine over 10ml in size. A longfill is one of the ways of making your own e-liquids (DIY) in larger sizes.

Usually, when people make DIY e-liquids they will blend together several different flavour concentrates to achieve a finished flavour profile, before adding nicotine and base liquids (propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine). A longfill is way of DIY e-liquid mixing, that takes away the flavour blending part of the process.

If you buy a longfill, you’ll get a bottle only partially filled with flavour concentrate – usually around 20ml of flavouring in a 60ml bottle, or 40ml in a 120ml bottle. This leaves space in the bottle for you to add your own nicotine and base liquids, so you can tailor the nicotine strength and PG/VG ratio to your exact preference.

For your convenience, we have added bundle options to many of the longfills we sell, so you can achieve a full bottle by simply filling your bottle with the bundled ingredients.

If all of this sounds like too much hassle and you don’t need as much control over the PG/VG ratio, a shortfill is a much easier way of getting a larger bottle of e-liquid. With a shortfill, all of the ingredients except nicotine are already in the bottle. You simply add the bundled nic shots and you’re done.
