Blueberry Inawera has the sweet and slightly floral taste of juicy, fresh blueberries. This concentrate has become the favourite blueberry for many of our customers because of its very realistic flavour and aroma, which strikes a good balance between sweet and tartness. The taste of Blueberry Inawera shines brightly when it is added to dairy mixes such as custards, ice creams and yogurts, but also works brilliantly with bakery recipes such as pies and muffins.
Recommended Mixing Percentage: 1.5% – 5%

My first bberry, mixed @ 3% steeped a few weeks was far too strong .I would say start at 1.5% for a straight mix. Even for Inewera this is a seriously strong concentrate. Not for me.

I find this has a kinda spicey note to it when used above 1%. Probably best used with other blueberry flavours to mask it slightly. It’s not a horrible flavour but I just find that spicey note can be a bit annoying. It does have a nice sweetness to it tho. Use it at .5% along with 1% fa bilberry and you’ll have a sweet authentic blueberry.

Can’t make my mind up about this flavour. At 3% it was really strong (coming from someone who welcomes strong flavours). It’s probably the best blueberry I have tried so far but i’m fairly positive I will be able to find a nicer one. For the price though and considering how small of an amount you actually need to use, its a bargain.
